"I'm not going." Dylin crossed her arms over her robust chest.
"You need to." Sub-Zero could feel a migraine begin to form in his head. Why did this woman have to be so complicated?!
"A ball? To show me off like I'm some trophy wife?"
"You aren't my wife yet." Sub-Zero vigorously rubbed his temples.
"No, but I will be." Dylin droned. She sat back against her bed and looked away from Sub-Zero. "You have a lot of nerve asking me something like this."
"You don't have much of a choice."
"So then, why are you asking?" Dylin's mocking tone nearly pushed Sub-Zero over the edge. He grabbed her wrist and she quickly countered by pulling herself
Honestly, I thought that I didn't need you.
I figured that I'd course through life, assuming that my marks in school would help me make it.
We are like night and day, after all. Father and daughter, never really making a connection.
Our misfortunes were based off of one another.
I kept my hopes and dreams from you a secret, knowing that you would blast them down.
We went our own separate ways.
Car rides together were always awkward.
